Meet Sandra

Wife - Mom - Coach - Advocate - Speaker - Faith-Walker
I was that child at church listening in while others had great testimonials, and all I could say was, God woke me up this morning. I wanted to have an experience with God the way these people did. All my life, I was asking God to show me my purpose. I never realized I was in the trenches of it.

My story began when I was nine years old, when I had my first menstrual cycle. I did not know what it was, I do not have sisters and my parents had not had The Talk with me yet. For as long as I can remember, I had tremendous menstrual pain.  Countless doctors and emergency room visits later, no physicians believed me. I lived with debilitating pain for 21 years before I was diagnosed with Endometriosis, which causes me to be infertile.

After marrying my high school sweetheart, Abner Elidor, I had an instant family and I was a stepmom (or bonus mom) to a beautiful little girl named Amber.  We wanted to add more children to our instant family right away.  It was the most challenging task we would face; so we thought at the time. Three years later, we would give birth to our baby boy named Logan, who was premature at 29 weeks via In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

For me to walk in my purpose, I had to go through the worst, yet, most gratifying moments of my life. - Sandra

Parenting Plug

While pregnant, we were told our son would have a learning disability and delays after being born prematurely. The day we left the hospital, I enrolled him with a therapist and I worked with him every day. Entering Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten, he was reading at a 2nd/3rd-grade level, doing math at a 2nd grade level and so much more. Because of my son, I created Parenting Plug, where I educate parents on how to best educate their children.

Filling Empty Wombs

My husband and I decided to help other people struggling to conceive. We founded Filling Empty Wombs (FEW). We provide support, tips, and educate those living with infertility. Our long-term goal is to create this foundation to collect donations and provide couples with the financial assistance they need to undergo treatments to conceive and services for couples to experience a miscarriage.
